OUR FARM

  • Sheep

We farm 2700 breeding ewes and 800 replacement ewe hoggets which are a combination of Romney and Coopworth genetics, these sheep produce around 4000 lambs per year. The majority of the lambs are finished and slaughtered for the export market. There is a selection of older ewes that are put with terminal sires also. The lambs are finished using a combination of brassica crops and high-producing grasses.

  • Cattle

We graze over 400 trading cattle made up of a combination of beef steers and Friesian bulls of different ages。

  • Mānuka bushes

Since 2015, we have converted 100 hectares of land into Mānuka bushes and are currently producing quality Mānuka honey.

  • Community

We have been donating to the local Waikaretu School every year since 2015. Our farm manager James also served on the board for over 10 years.

  • Lodge

A ten-room luxurious rural lodge with fine dining culinary experience.
